There’s something about the turn of a season that makes a person want a change something. Spring is here! If you’re like me, you constantly crave change. Whether it be in your look, your attitude, or your surroundings, change will always seem hard. But your look is something that can easily be altered with just a few changes. Follow these tips and your look could be enhanced within minutes!
1. Change up your hair
Hair is probably one of the first things you notice in someone. A change in cut, color, or style can easily make anyone look like a new person. Something as simple as changing the way you part your hair can make all the difference. If you’re looking to change up your style quick, try a new hair part or get some face-framing layers. If you’re brave, look into dying your hair or getting some highlights. The first step in revamping your style should always be changing your hair! Personally, I would recommend using April Skin’s Turn up Color Treatment because you don’t need to bleach your hair to get an effect! You can apply it without bleach for a nice tint of whatever color you want. The lighter your hair, the higher the effect.
2. Do your eyebrows differently
2018 is the year of the eyebrow, bringing radically new eyebrow shapes that can embellish your look. A makeup look is never complete without doing your eyebrows; without them, there’s always something missing. That’s how important eyebrows are to your look. To change your look, start filling them in or try a new shape; the possibilities are endless! I would recommend Benefit’s Brow Zings. It comes in a variety of colors and includes a powder, a gel to shape your lashes, an applicator brush, and a pair of tweezers. Although it is a little bit on the pricey side your eyebrows have a major impact on your look, so it’s worth getting them perfect!
3. Wear a new lip color
Celebrities often get recognized for their signature looks. One of the most well known lip looks is obviously Taylor Swift’s red lip. She wore it all the time and even dedicated her album to the color red. Wouldn’t it be nice to be known for something and recognized for it? Find your color and stick to it, and make sure people know that it’s your signature look. Although this applies to anything (style-wise), lips are such a defining factor, yet they are so simple to change! To get started, I would recommend Style Nanda’s velvet lip tint. It’s subtle enough for everyday-use but striking enough that it stands out. It has a variety of colors and allows you to explore and see what fits you.
4. Change your skin care routine
We live in a country where skin care is held at paramount importance. Although the plethora of skin products can seem overbearing at times, it is one of the many things that South Korea does right! Before you perfect your makeup or your outfit, you must take care of the first thing that people usually see when they look at you: your face. Whether you’re into the dewy skin look or the matte, the healthier your skin, the better you look and feel. Look into getting a full routine to improve your skin. I would suggest investing in the Green Tea Skin Care set from Innisfree. It is light on your face and makes a huge difference when used regularly. It comes with face wash, face cream, serum, toner, and more.
