The 2018 Editor-in-Chief for Teen10, Allison is a member of the Yongsan International School of Seoul Class of 2019. She takes pride in being a mom friend and advice guru. Her favorite hobbies are reading, writing, cooking, baking, singing, and teaching herself the guitar. In times when she's in need of relaxation, she likes to read and binge-watch TV shows on (someone else's) Netflix. Allison's dream is to one day either become a successful litigator or start her own band.
Jaydon is a rising senior and currently attends Yongsan International School of Seoul. He is passionate about film, photography, and graphic design. As the Creative Director, he hopes to spend extra effort into making browsing Teen 10 an aesthetically pleasing experience.
Currently attending Seoul International School as a junior, Dawn spent her childhood in Michigan before returning to Korea in 2011. Having served as text editor for the 2018 MUNITY press team for THIMUN and copy editor for SIS’s award-winning newspaper Tiger Times, Dawn has been involved in journalism for three years. When she isn’t actively fueling conversation about current events, Dawn enjoys looking for obscure, eclectic music for her monthly Tiger Times column Jukebox Jewels.
Grace is a junior attending Seoul Foreign School. She enjoys a variety of hobbies, such as playing the violin, drawing, playing games on her phone (she's very dedicated to Simcity), and of course, writing. As a passionate writer, she writes and edits for Teen 10 and her school newspaper. Apart from these activities, she often goes to bubble tea shops with her friends to relax and share memes that everyone can enjoy.
Julian is a student from Yongsan International School of Seoul's Class of '19. Although he was born in South Korea, he considers himself American because he spent seven years of his childhood in California. He believes that this experience really helped him gain a better cross-cultural understanding of people. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball on his school's varsity team, writing, or hanging out with his friends.
Andy is a 15-year-old sophomore attending Seoul International School in South Korea. Born in the United States and raised in Asia, he feels that his diverse experiences around the world have shaped and concretized his beliefs. He is extremely passionate about public speaking, international relations, and the humanities as a whole. He hopes to use his voice and the power of the pen to advocate social causes and articulate his thoughts during this era of rising democracy.
Jeffrey Kim is a Junior at Korea International School. He is a dreamer who is exceedingly passionate about soccer and technology. He loves the quote: "You have to be burning with an idea, or a problem, or a wrong that you want to right. If you're not passionate enough from the start, you'll never stick it out." from Steve Jobs. Jeffrey is much confident that his passion for technology could make the magazine "stick out."
The Sports Assistant Editor, Kevin is a member of the Yongsan International School of Seoul of 2019. When he isn't occupied by academics, Kevin spends his time in the gym playing basketball or volleyball. At home, he is catching up with the NBA or playing video games. Kevin aspires to begin his own start-up or write for ESPN.
A freshman in Yongsan International School of Seoul, Sean is an avid writer that uses categorically horrible puns and out-of-trend jokes as a means to connect with people. When he is alone, he usually listens to music and watches movies, sharing his thoughts on such subjects through writing. Throughout the year, you’ll get to accompany him on his adventurous journeys to find a hobby.
Yuri is a cartoon and film junkie, with her earliest vivid childhood memory being sneaking into the Dark Knight when she was 7 to watch Heath Ledger unleash anarchy. She also enjoys bread, book clubs and long walks on the beach. She is fresh to Seoul, having just moved back here after living 11 years in Hong Kong. Yuri took a gap year from school in 2016-2017, which explains why she is a sophomore in Seoul Foreign School this year. That gap was a time for her to experience and learn many things about herself, which all contributed to shape much of who she is today.
Sydney Chun is a current sophomore at Seoul Foreign School. An avid reader, Sydney feels most content when flipping through the pages of a book, and loves to engage with others by talking about the best ones she stumbles across. Besides reading, she also enjoys writing, playing the flute, and spending time with her friends.
